Detailed Itinerary
Day 1- Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your luxury safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Arusha. After a short safari briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch inside the park before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs, and a variety of colorful bird species along the Tarangire River. As the sun begins to set, leave the park and transfer to your luxury lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2- Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend approximately 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as Africa's "Garden of Eden." Spend the day exploring one of the world's most wildlife-rich ecosystems. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, hippos, and numerous bird species around Lake Magadi. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, ascend the crater and return to your luxury lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight
Day 3- Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. This scenic park is famous for its lush groundwater forests, dramatic Rift Valley escarpment, and alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos during the right season. Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while surrounded by breathtaking scenery before continuing your wildlife adventure. In the late afternoon, return to your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4- Karatu – Arusha Town
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely drive back to Arusha through the beautiful highlands and local villages. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have time to visit a local curio market or enjoy lunch in Arusha before being transferred to the airport or your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable luxury Tanzania safari.
