Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival – Arusha / Kilimanjaro Airport
Pick-up from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, and meet your professional driver-guide and transfer to your hotel/lodge in Arusha. Safari briefing and time to relax before your journey begins. Overnight Arusha Lodge/Hotel (mid-range or luxury).
Day 2 - Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–3 hours). Enjoy to look out for lions, giraffes, buffalo, impalas, and more, Lunch at a scenic picnic site or lodge. Overnight Lodge/camp near Tarangire.
Day 3 - Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti
Early morning departure to Ngorongoro Crater, descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. Spot black rhinos, hippos, lions, flamingos, hyenas, and more in this natural wonder, Picnic lunch by the hippo poo. Afternoon drive to Central Serengeti, with optional stop at Olduvai Gorge or Maasai village. Overnight: Tented camp/lodge in Serengeti.
Day 4 - Serengeti – Balloon Safari & Full-Day Game Drive
At 04:30 AM transfer to balloon launch site for pre-sunrise briefing and coffee, 06:00 AM take off on a 1-hour sunrise hot air balloon safari over Serengeti. Enjoy aerial views of herds, predators, and golden savannah light. After landing, celebrate with a champagne bush breakfast. Spend the rest of the day on game drives, following wildlife and (seasonally) the Great Migration. Overnight Same lodge/camp in Serengeti.
Day 5 - Serengeti – Lake Manyara / Karatu
Morning game drive as you exit Serengeti, Enjoy beautiful views as you journey back through the Ngorongoro highlands, Optional stop at a local Maasai village or viewpoint. Arrive in Karatu (outside Lake Manyara) for overnight. Overnight Lodge in Karatu.
Day 6 - Lake Manyara – Return to Arusha / Airport
Early breakfast and short drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drive through lush forests and the lakeshore—famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and baboons. Picnic lunch inside the park. Drive back to Arusha and drop-off at airport or hotel in the late afternoon.
